Hi all bought a used 2012 lexus ct with 73k a few weeks ago. By the time i hit the roundabout in my town the battery was at 98 i d say. As the battery warranty has expired past the 5 years 60 000 miles mark should i expect to have to buy a new battery and if so how much do they cost. I was told the toyota hybrid batteries are different than the lexus hybrid batteries.

Until now there were few options to get your hybrid battery pack replaced in your ct 200h either you go to the dealer or you risk having someone repair it by changing out a single module. Today while waiting about 7minutes in a drive thru the battery visual went from about 90 to 15 20 full i then drove about 25mins home on a road going about 60mph steadily. Not if you re in charge of moving the lexus ct 200h. Hopefully i wont have to take it in but its looking more and more that way.

Hi i am interested in buying a pre used lexus ct200h 2011 110 000 miles. I spent a lot of time in it over the new year s break. I tried to go to toyota for the replacement but they referred me to lexus since toyota would have to purchase the part from lexus. Initially our issue was that it would not start.

Apologies in advance for my poor knowledge of technical terms. Cost for a new battery pack and labor 5600 00. Am thinking of buying a lexus cs200 secondhand car but not sure as to buy petrol or hybrid they say battery is guaranteed for 5 years but can last till 10 years and is very expensive to buy can some decent person tell me facts. How long do they last.
