Lens Rubber Ring White

It s about 4 years old and i bought it new from amazon.

They are in a camera bag so i was a little surpised to see this. The rubber on focus ring is fine. I don t use the lens that much so it stays in the bags most of the time. The rubber on my 70 200 turn white and it looks ugly.
